Finding great things to do on West Virginia family vacations is part of the fun. Some outdoor activities, like white water rafting on the New River or the Treetops Canopy Tour are obvious choices, as is a tour of the Exhibition Coal Mine. But some adventures take more planning because they happen on specific dates. Located throughout Beckley, West Virginia, the Festival includes a Parade & Uptown Fair, a Home Run Derby and Fireworks at Little League. As a special treat, plane rides are offered at the Airport on one of the days. Reservations are required for Plane Rides.
